Eagle Arts Commission is preparing for our first Eagle Sculpture Invitational. The only of its kind in Idaho, the summer-long art show will showcase professional sculpture artists around the city of Eagle. The show provides an avenue for these talented artists to bring their art to where the people are, in parks, pathways and downtown Eagle. The community-wide effort is designed to present new art experiences to not only the public, but municipalities, corporate entities and other potential customers and arts patrons.

The outdoor exhibition runs from June to October 2014. Artists with public art experience will submit up to six existing works for consideration by mid-April. A selection committee consisting of EAC board members, elected officials, city staff, community members and arts professionals will select the 10 invited artists.  The artists will receive a stipend for the temporary loan of the work, insurance, and installation of their sculpture in early June. The artists will be guest of honor at a special premier party to be held on June 7, 2014. The exhibit continues through the end of September 2014.  Click here to apply now.
