The Quick Draw Competition is a plein air painting competition, exhibit and sale that is open to registered artists. If you would like to paint in the Quick Draw register by email to gallery@finerframes.com with “Eagle Paint Out” in the subject line.  Artists have only nine blocks and two and a half hours to complete their works.  During this short time, all registered Quick Draw participants will set up their supplies and paint or draw en plein air in downtown Eagle.

This is one of the most exciting experiences of the event.  Together, artists and spectators are immersed in the creative process.  See the scenes and how the artists interpret them.  Smell the wet paint and get caught up in the excitement of watching the paintings come to life before your eyes!

After the paint out, an exhibit is held at the Eagle Saturday Market and paintings are exhibited on the easels on which they were created.  The paintings will be judged by Eagle Paint Out Plein Air Competition Judge, and the awards will be presented at 11:30am.  Then any unsold paintings will be moved at 2pm to The Gallery at Finer Frames. Everything about the Quick Draw is quick…so do not miss out!

The cost to enter for the Quick Draw Competition is included with your $30 registration fee for the Eagle Paint Out. Quick Draw Ribbons will be awarded for Judges & People’s Choice.
