Submit your most heartwarming, hilarious, or downright adorable photos of your beloved pets for a chance to win big. Each entry puts you in the running for one of five $100 gift certificates to Finer Frames, where you can showcase your winning shot in style.

Here’s the nitty gritty…
FUR-Tography is a community pet photo exhibit that will be displayed at Finer Frames July 1 through August 31, 2026.
HOW TO APPLY
Humans living in Idaho that are 13 years and older may submit digital photos of their pets by email to gallery@finerframes.com
Deadline for submissions is midnight Friday, June 12, 2026
Humans may submit up to 3 photos of their pets for consideration for the jurying process. Label each entry with your last name with number of entry, for example (Smith1.jpg). The entrant must have the legal right and authority to grant permission for Finer Frames to use the photo.
SELECTIONS
If selected for the exhibit, you’ll be notified by email on Monday, June 15.
Finalists must provide framed photographs to Finer Frames by Monday June 29. It’s a tight timeline, but we believe in you!
Photos printed on paper must be framed with white mats and black frames. Recommended photo size 11×14. Outside frame size must be under 20×24.
Let us help. Discounted framing is available for $80 by Finer Frames. Black wood frame, 3” wide archival mat, museum mount and UV filtering glass. Finished size would be 16″ x 20”
Photos on wrapped canvas that, are wired for hanging, will also be accepted.
Pictures may be offered for sale, if the entrant wishes, but it’s not required.
RECEPTION
The public is welcome to the Opening Reception on Wednesday July 1 at Finer Frames. Refreshments and fun from 5:00pm – 7:00pm.
AWARDS
The winner in each category will be awarded a $100 gift certificate for Finer Frames and snazzy ribbon. The chances of winning depend on the number of entries received and on the opinions of the judging panel. Categories include:
- Most Dramatic – For the pet caught mid-zoomies, mid-sneeze, or in full diva mode.
- Best Dressed – For pets rocking an outfit, costume, or accessory with undeniable confidence (or adorable reluctance).
- Dynamic Duo – For photos featuring two or more pets (or a pet and their human!) sharing a moment of pure friendship, chaos, or synchronized silliness.
- Senior Sweethearts — Celebrating the most distinguished, wise-looking older pets.
- Most Photogenic — For the pet that was born for the camera. Pure natural star power.
Community members are encouraged to visit the exhibit and vote for their favorite photo. People’s Choice will be awarded on August 29.
At the conclusion of the show on Monday August 31, artwork must be picked up the week of August 31. Any photos left after Friday, September 4, 2026 will be counted as abandoned (unless otherwise arranged) and will be considered property of Finer Frames.
