Finer Frames is now hiringseeking an experienced and organized individual with a highly professional demeanor to provide sales and custom framing support for an active gallery with an exciting and expanding program.  This is a small operation requiring flexibility and resourcefulness, and will provide opportunities to learn many different tasks involved in the operation of a gallery.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated person and a problem solver, who understands the priories and support necessary in sales, frame design and assembly.  Candidate must possess an eye for detail and produce quality work; be a self-starter who is performance-driven, team-oriented and client-focused with strong communication skills and a strong work ethic. Prefer creative person with experience in sales, custom framing and design with knowledge of archival techniques.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Sales and frame design
-Mat cutting and frame assembly
-Ordering and maintaining supplies

-General administrative duties
-Involvement with various projects and exhibitions

Requirements:
-Prior gallery/framing experience, 2-years minimum required
-BA, Art History, History, Arts Management or related field preferred
-Superior written and spoken communication skills
-Must be professional, personable and discreet
-Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-Ability to multitask and thrive in dynamic environment
-Must have a strong sense of responsibility and must be a team player
-Excellent computer skills, including with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Database, and overall technological savvy
